Therefore little work can be released but here is what i can show you
I'm director/producer as well as head animator on DEFLATED along side Becky Moritz, who is also head art director.
DEFLATED is being completing as my final film for my degree that will get submitted to festivals come this June 2017. So make sure you keep a look out for our film!
Concept Art
Before Becky Mortiz joined DEFLATED and helped finalize our style, the concept i created for my pitch was very different.
We did keep the light pastel colors though as it helped achieve a light hearted feel to the film that was quite sad in some places.
Below are two very different piece of concept work that shaped the direction the film went in.
On the left is work from BEN FLANAGAN, a Illustration graduate from Falmouth university. He capture the dark side of the film, with strong bold shadows and distinct line work.
On the right is work form BECKY MORITZ, an animation under-graduate from Falmouth University. She used Bens stroing shadows but added a pastel color palette that really summed up the feeling of the film.
